The day was moving slow and steady, as the animatronics waited for the night to finally start. They were out of “free roam” mode and they were forced to perform in front of humans on the stage. It’s a boring time for them as pre-recorded voices were playing and their limbs were moving to the same old songs they’ve sang for years. They had so little control over what their robotic bodies were doing during the day for so long, they had gotten used to the feeling. They adapted to the thought and feeling that had very little control everyday and had to wait until dark to go back into “free roam” mode. When they’re not in “free roam” mode, they can’t really speak or move freely. But they can still think freely with no problems at all. During daytime, they feel when they are out of “free roam” mode; it’s the perfect time to think about a plan to catch the “endoskeleton”.

Chica really wasn’t thinking about any of that though, she couldn’t stop thinking about Foxy through the entire day. The thoughts about Foxy and what happened earlier plagued her mind silently. Her mind wouldn’t let her forget, no matter how hard she tried to get over it and focus on her surroundings, it failed and she ended up once again lost in her thoughts. During the hours she had long and deep thoughts about Foxy, the moments she had with Foxy earlier played over and over in her head. She wanted to go back in time and do it over again, turn the things she did wrong to right. She wished she didn’t seem so nervous when she was talking to him. He was an animatronics just like her, he was nothing special. He may have had the teeth and the history to be a danger to humans, but he wouldn’t hurt his own kind would he?

Chica kept her mind focused a few plans quickly developing in her mind for meeting Foxy again; she used every single second of the day planning what to do for the night. She knew she had a choice; either goes back to Pirates Cove and make a new impression for Foxy, or stay away and look like a coward to Foxy. To Chica, she couldn’t bare the recent memory of looking like a weak, naïve, and cowardly little chicken to Foxy, so she quickly made the choice to go back into that dark and depressing cove that Foxy calls his “home”. She checked her internal clock from time to time to see how long she has until dusk. It was going to be either a long and disappointing night, or a successful night.

9:45PM

The janitors’ were on the move with cleaning up the dining area for it to be clean tomorrow morning. They were also hurrying up with it, seeing its pretty dark and being in the animatronics presence at night always gave them the chills.

Though the animatronics should be turned off to charge, not all of them were off. Chica had turned herself on, while trying not to make she look like she’s on. She barely opened her eyes so she could see what’s going on as she shifted her eyes to see all around the dining area. She looked at the janitors as she observed them quietly, and then looked towards Pirate Cove and suddenly remembered what she needed to do tonight. She needed to quickly help Bonnie and Freddy tonight to catch the endoskeleton in the office first, and then become in contact with Foxy again to make a new impression. She knew she needed enough power to stay on through the night, so she silently turned herself back off and waited for midnight.

12:03AM

Chica was quickly turned back on as she lifted her head and opened her eyes. She looked into the dinning area, and then quickly glanced to her right to see Bonnie who had just turned her back on.

“Come on, Chica!” Bonnie quickly made his way to the hallways, expecting Chica to follow. “Tonight is a new night! Let’s go catch that endoskeleton!” Freddy sounded determined as he quickly moved off the stage and into the darkness. Chica didn’t say a word and followed Bonnie out the dinning room area.

As Bonnie and Chica were standing together for a moment, they waited for the “endoskeleton” to start looking through the cameras to know he is active. Bonnie shifted his attention to Chica for a moment to give her his plan on how to catch the “endoskeleton”. “Okay…” Bonnie starts off “Were going to move every few minutes very slowly creeping up to the office. If we fail the first time we will start over back here and go again, but quicker. I’ll make a knocking sound to let you know when it’s time to move.” Bonnie took a quick look at the camera ahead of him, and looked back at Chica. “Head to the East hall and wait for my knock to move.” Chica nodded, showing that she understands as she turns around and heads to the East hall. She walked in a pace not too quick, but not too slow. She stopped and stood in one place in the East Hall, and she stayed there and listened quietly for Bonnie to knock. She tried hard to focus on listening for a knock than thinking about what else she’s supposed to do tonight. It’s so surprising one animatronic fox could be so obsessive to think about... Who knew?

A couple hours went by as Bonnie and Chica were very focused on catching on the “endoskeleton”. They failed a few times to sneak into the office, so they repeated and did what was planned. They could see the “endoskeleton” was getting more and more distressed, as they began to believe it maybe running low on power. Bonnie and Chica decided to stay close by the office to build up a ton of tension, hoping that it will have a better chance of catching the “endoskeleton”. Bonnie makes a knocking sound to tell Chica that it’s time to move again. Chica begins to move into a speed-walking pace, making the sound of her footsteps loud and clear. But Bonnies footsteps were so much louder, sounding like he was running to the door. As Chica made it to the office, she glanced through the window to see the endoskeleton getting frightened by Bonnie being at the door. She saw the east door was still open, and realizing she has an opportunity. Chica quickly took that opportunity and sneaked in while the “endoskeleton” was busy trying to recover from the fright Bonnie had just gave him after shutting the door on him. Chica stood behind the “endoskeleton” silently and watched him as he turned his attention to the east door and press the now dysfunctional buttons, and realize Chica has snuck in. He sounded so terrified; he didn’t dare even turn to around to look at her as he knew Chica was behind him, but Chica wasn’t going to try to be scary to him. At this point she wanted answers from him, she wanted to ask questions that were now floating inside her mind. She took a second to clear her throat silently, and speak to the “endoskeleton”.

“Why aren’t you wearing your suit?” Chica spoke with a clear, low tone voice.

The “endoskeleton” quickly turned to face her, shocked to hear her speak. The “endoskeleton” took a step back from her to have some distance from her. His hair was slightly messy, with dark circles under his eyes and a 5’O clock shadow. He was pale and shaky, looking like he was trying to find the will to speak.

“…W-what?” the “endoskeleton” spoke in a soft and small voice.

“Why aren’t you wearing your suit?” Chica repeated, but a littler slower.

“…Suit? What suit?”

“Your suit, where is your suit?”

“I don’t what you’re talking about.”

“Why are you sitting in this one room without a suit? You NEED a suit.”

“Please! Just let me go!”

“Without a suit? I don’t think so!”

“Please I don’t want to die!” the “endoskeleton” dropped to its knees and busted into tears. “Please!” the endoskeleton begged on the floor of the office. “I have a fiancé that’s pregnant! I have a family to raise and support! Please have mercy, just let me go!”

As Chica began to listen more of what the “endoskeleton” had to say, the more she felt confused and wondering what’s really going on. “Family? Fiancé? Pregnant?” What’s going on here?  Chicas expression began to change slowly, as well as the tone of her voice, from being low toned and serious, to a more light-hearted with a sound of sympathy in her voice.

“You… have a family?” Chica asked.

The “endoskeleton” looked at her through his tears, seeing her expression has changed. He wiped a few tears before he answered her.

“Y-yes…I’m about to start raising a family…” The “endoskeleton” says, trying to wipe away all of his tears.

“Where are they?” Chica asked rather curiously.

“At home… Not here.” The “endoskeleton” began to dig into one of his pockets. “…You wanna see a picture?” he asks as he pulls out his wallet.

“Okay…” Chica responded to his question. The “endoskeleton” opened his wallet and showed a small pocket sized picture of a pregnant woman. The woman was sitting in a rocking chair, with her hands on her pregnant belly. She had a big smile on her face showing the joy she has for her unborn baby that will be here soon.

Chica slowly moved her robot hands to gently grasp the wallet to get a better look at the picture. As gently grasped it, she managed to touch the “endoskeletons” fingers with hers. It was the first time she felt physical contact with someone in a while. She observed the picture while reading a few other things that were inside his wallet. She read his name on his license.

“Mike… Schmidt?” Chica said as she was reading.

“Yup…” the “endoskeleton” responded, confirming his name is “Mike Schmidt”.

“Mike…”

“Yes?”

“Why do you have a family…? When I, Freddy, Bonnie, and Foxy don’t?”

“Well uh… I guess you guys weren’t built to have families of your own. That must suck, doesn’t it?”

“I never really wanted to have a family of my own. I just wonder why you have one when we don’t. It just doesn’t sound very fair…”

“Yeah, it doesn’t.” Mike sees his power is running low as he only has an hour left. He looked to see the west door is still shut, so to save power he opens it back up. Chica doesn’t question him about opening the west door or give him any warnings. The door opening reminds her that she’s having a conversation with the “out of control endoskeleton”. She must do everything in her power to not let him escape her. With that thought coming through her mind, she changed her tone of voice again.

“Hey, you must feel cold and naked without a suit. Why don’t you come with me and we can get a suit for you?” She says as she offers him her hand, expecting him to take her hand and walk to the backstage room to stuff him into a suit. Mike quickly understood what she was trying to do, and tried to stall her.

“Uh well actually I don’t feel cold and naked. I’m fine, but thank you.”

“Having a suit will make you feel much better, trust me. It’s great to have one, c’mon let me show you.”

“N-no I’m fine, thank you.” Mike tried backing away from Chica, but then she would start stepping towards him. It wasn’t long before Mike realized death is near, she wasn’t going to give up, not even after trying manipulating her emotions to stall her. He wanted to flee the office, but the fear that other animatronics are in the halls waiting for him is what kept him in place. He only hoped that time would fly by fast, so he could live for one more night.

“It’ll be quick, Mike” Chica offered her hand to Mike “Promise…”

Mike began to tremble, he wanted to escape but couldn’t. He wasn’t ready to face death, not here, and definitely not now.

Bonnie ran around the halls looking for Freddy, his excitement at the fact that the “endoskeleton” has finally been caught with HIS plan. He called for Freddy looking in the darker corners of every hall and room for Freddy “Freddy! Freddy!!”

“Shhhh, Bonnie what are you doing?” Freddy responded in the dark, his eyes were the only things that were visible.

“The endoskeleton is caught! Chica got inside the security room!”

“You’re kidding??”

“No I’m not! She’s in there, c’mon!” Bonnie began happily “hopping” to the security room. Freddy followed behind him, with a sense of excitement and joy in his walk.

“Please!” Mike trembled at Chicas presence getting closer to his. “Have mercy for god’s sake!” He backed away from his chair and used it as something to divide them both. Mike was now completely between both of the doors. Mike tried to do everything he could to avoid his death, even if still seemed hopeless. He was desperate to stay alive, and all that mattered at the moment was to stay alive.

Both Chica and Mike were suddenly startled by the sound of loud banging coming from the distance, it sounded like it was closer to the left door. Mike probably knew who it could be, but Chica had an idea of who is was.

“Why don’t you go check out who’s making those noises, Mike?” Chica suggests to Mike, assuming its Bonnie coming to the office.

“Why don’t YOU check it out?” Mike turns it around, trying to stall more time while keeping his distance. Chica just gave him a smile and said “Okay.” And she slowly walked over to the left door. She watched Mike at the corner of her eye as he was slowly backing away to the right door. Once he was almost one foot out the door, she quickly turns her head to face him and stared him down to stop him. Mike immediately stopped in his tracks and stayed Frozen once Chica locked eye contact with him. She stared at him, until she saw Freddy’s eyes glow in the darkness behind Mike. Once she saw Freddy, she smiled at Mike and turns her head back the left door, checking the lights.

Mike quickly took his chances of escaping, but he was stopped by Freddy standing in his way. Freddy gave him a smirk “Where do you think you’re going?” Freddy asked in a low and intimidating voice. Mike was devastated by Freddy presence, as tears began to fall from his eyes. He knew this was the end, and there was nothing he could do. Freddy quickly grabbed Mike by the wrist and kept him in a tight grip. Mike struggled in his grip, but Freddy wasn’t fazed by his huge struggle. Freddy looked to Chica and asked “Where’s Bonnie?” Chica looked at Freddy and shrugged. The sound of quick footsteps coming to the office was now able to be heard by both of them. Assuming it’s Bonnie running coming, they were both not alarmed.

But before they knew it, they were quickly met with not Bonnie, but Foxy who felt neglected by now being checked enough. Foxy let out a loud screech and ran into Chica full speed. As Chica was suddenly being attacked by Foxy, she let out a loud screech as well. Foxy charged her so quickly she fell under Foxy, with Foxy following her. As she fell to the ground, she braced herself for any harm upon her as Foxy was now on top on her. Foxy didn’t move, now realizing she’s not the one he wants to attack. Chica and Foxys gaze was almost unbreakable for a few seconds.

“Foxy… It’s me.” Chica said in a quiet and shaky voice. Foxy didn’t move for another couple seconds until he got up off her and mumbled “Sorry.” to her as he quickly left the security room and back to his cove. Chica lifted her head up off the ground, still a little shaken by what just happened. She slowly sat up and looked back at Freddy to see his shocked expression.

“Are you alright?” Freddy asked Chica with concern in his voice.

“Y-yeah…” Chica answered, as she was slowly getting up from the floor. She brushed herself off, and she approached the west door again. She slowly and carefully peaked out of the west hall to see the darkness, no sound, no movement, noting but the darkness.

“Bonnie?” She called out to him. She saw the supply closet door open slowly, and inside the supply closet came out long purple bunny ears, and then a head with bright red eyes and bunny face peaked out of the closet.

“…I-is he gone?” Bonnie asked softly, looking both ways just after he asked.

“Yes… He’s gone.” Chica answered. As she answered Bonnie, he came out of the closet cautiously, looking behind him as he walking towards the office.

“Where’s the endoskeleton?” Bonnie asked, wondering why he isn’t in Chicas grasp.

“Freddy has him.”

“Freddy is already there?”

“Yes.”

Bonnie entered the security room to see Freddy still holding Mike tightly in his grasp. Mike was in distress, but was too tired from all his screaming to continue struggling. Bonnie let a smile stretch across his face, as so did Freddy. Chica maintained a straight face though; she seemed to look quite drained right now.

“So guys,” Freddy starts, now looking at Mike as he’s speaking to Bonnie and Chica. “What do you say we get this endoskeleton into a new suit?”

“I say lets do it!” Bonnie says with enthusiasm in his voice.

“I’ll pass.” Chica says, “ I guess I’ll go tell Foxy the endoskeleton has been caught so he doesn’t come running to the door again when the endoskeleton has already been caught.”

“Are you sure you don’t want to help stuff, Chica?” Freddy asked.

“Yes.”

“Okay then, your loss.” With that, Freddy and Bonnie left the office with Mike. Mike began to struggle again and scream loudly as he was sobbing. Freddy and Bonnie ignored his cries, but for reason Chica couldn’t stand it. She gently covered her hearing sensors and hummed quietly to herself to sound out the screaming. She stood there in the office for a minute, waiting for the screams to die down. When she uncovered her hearing sensors, to hear nothing but echoes of what should be the screams of Mike. She looked at the floor to see Mike’s wallet lying on the floor. She kneeled down to pick it up from the floor, and opens it once again. She looks at the picture of Mike and his pregnant fiancé again, and takes a better look at it. The woman in the picture has long brown hair, along with what seems to be dark brown eyes. Her skin was a creamy white, with clothes that seems to be a little too big on her. She has a round stomach with her hands over it, holding it with care. Chica closed the wallet once she heard the sound of thumping, something metallic thumping around. Thinking it’s Foxy, she put the wallet in a tiny pocket in her bib (that always seemed to be invisible the naked eye). She quickly headed towards the Pirates Cove, hoping he wasn’t sprinting towards the office right now. It didn’t take her long before she made it to the entrance to the Pirates Cove, she entered the cove, slowing her pace down a little bit.

“Foxy?” She calls out to him in a soft voice, trying not to alarm him. She heard the sound of the quiet pitter-patter of metal footsteps on the stage. She approached the stage carefully, waiting for Foxy to open the curtains. “Foxy?” She called again, but louder this time. After a full minute he was unresponsive to Chica, which did make her pretty nervous at the moment. She came up to the stage and gently opened the curtains, “Foxy, where are you?” Chica had a concerned tone in her voice as she scanned the stage with her eyes. With what she saw, her heart felt heavy with the sight of what’s behind the curtains. She once suspected there was nothing behind the curtains anymore, but she was wrong. In the middle of the stage was a dusty and worn out pirate ship, with a missing flag. The small ship had paint cracks all over it that was laced in spider webs. There was a treasure chest right beside the ship had layers of dust sitting on it, pieces of it had seem to have fallen off over the years. It looked so old and unstable that if you would touch it so very gently, it would fall and turn into dust in your hand. There was a chair in the right corner of the cove, facing away from Chica. As Chica looked closer at the chair, she sees that Foxy is sitting in the chair, with a black and white cloth wrapped around him. Foxy was rocking himself gently in the chair.

“..Foxy?” Chica calls one more time, “Are you okay?” When she took step onto the stage, Foxy finally responded. He glanced over his shoulder to look at her. The side of his face showed no expression, no emotion, nothing that will mentally tell Chica something what he feels and what he wants. She decided to take a few more steps on the small stage, but as she did the Fox began to softly growl at her. She stopped to listen to his growls, as they were slowly getting softer and quieter. Chica took 2 more steps and the growls quickly risen back, this time they were louder. Chica took one last step, now being only a few feet away from the Fox. Foxy grew aggressive this time and jumped out of his chair and threw the cloth off him. He narrowed his eyes, and exposed a set of sharp teeth in his mouth. His snarled and growled at Chica as a sign to leave him immediately before things start to get violent. Chica barely responded with a straight face, waiting for him to speak.

“Git out of me cove!” Foxy snarled, “Now!”

“Why?” Chica responded calmly.

“Ye be too close fer comfort! Now git!”

Chica only took a couple steps back to calm him, which only seemed to calm him down a little.

“Is that better?” Chica asked.

“By “git” I meant ye need t’ git out of me cove completely n’ never come back befer’ I rip ye into pieces ye dumbass bird!”

“Well maybe next time you need to be more specific.” Chica turned around to leave the Pirates Cove. “See ya later.”

“I don’ think we be seein’ each other again, Bird.”

Just before Chica left the cove, she turned her head to look at Foxy again.

“What do you mean we won’t see each other again?” Chica looked confused as she asked Foxy that question. Foxy was now getting more annoyed with Chica by the second. He didn’t know how much more he could take before he snaps at her.

“I mean it by “we never seein’ each other again”… Git it through tha’ thick endoskeletin’ head of yers!”

“That’s actually impossible Foxy, because I’m pretty sure we will meet again sometime soon in halls or in the office with a new runaway endoskeleton, or something like that.”

“Not if I kill ye…”

“You would kill a crew mate?”

“Maybe I would… I kno’ I can.”

“Why?”

“Because ye be botherin’ me n ye won’ git!”

“That doesn’t seem very fair, Foxy. What if you get in trouble?”

“Do ye think I care if I git caught? No! I will KILL ye if ye don’t GIT now!”

“…Okay.” Chica gives up, “I guess you already know that the endoskeleton has been caught, right?”

“Aye! Now git!”

“Aye, Aye, captain!” Chica says to make Foxy feel a bit better. Chica gave him a smile, and she leaves the Pirates Cove.

Foxy sighed, and he plops back down on his chair. He leaned forward holding his head in his hand and hook. The time he spent trying to get Chica out of his cove was mentally exhausting. “Damn bird…” he mumbled to himself quietly. He slowly leaned back on his chair, with his hand now gently pressing down on the nose bridge between his eyes. He groaned softly as he tried to relax so he doesn’t burst a wire or break anything of his endoskeleton from all of the stress. He may have let parts of his suit go, but certainly not his endoskeleton. Foxy slowly opened his eyes to see his slightly torn up flag that he used as a blanket was on the floor. He picked it back up and wrapped it around him again, and sat as comfortably as possible in his chair. He lay back as he slowly drifted off to sleep mode.

As Foxy drifted off to sleep, Chica was on the main stage. She could still hear the loud sobbing and screams coming from Mike coming from the backstage room. She didn’t understand why she suddenly can’t stand those sounds coming from Mike. He was an “endoskeleton” without his costume on, and Freddy and Bonnie are doing what’s right… right? It’s against the rules to not have suit on at all times, so Bonnie and Freddy are doing what’s right, it has to be right.

After enduring a couple more minutes of the screams, she couldn’t stand listening any longer. She got up from a small chair on the stage and left to go to the kitchen. She had about 30 more minutes to spare, and she didn’t know when Freddy and Bonnie were going to be done stuffing Mike in a suit. So she left to go to the kitchen, a place where she felt most comfortable. She ended up staying there for the rest of the night, playing with pots and pans to sound out the echoes and to comfort her. Even though it was a successful night for them, she didn’t feel so proud of this one.

Sorry about the wait for this. School is annoying as fuck, taking all my time away with it's shit.

More to come soon...

Enjoy!

this story really is truly a amazing story/ when chica gets to see his picture of his family and how she was affected by it really does touch the heart, and for someone to think they do not have feelings. what I mean is that this story must be continued on, for this my friend is something you got going that I believe you should finish and make it end with a screech owo . good luck matey and goodbye.

(now for a side note I was wondering, does chica stay loving an caring or does she go bad? well then again you cannot tell me so forget ti XD ....my critique was short...little judging bugger I tell ye
